Swift Employment Services Limited grew during a time of significant turmoil and uncertainty. The challenges of COVID-19, the cost of living crisis, widespread business closures, layoffs and the uncomfortable political uncertainties all pushed me to act decisively when the future seemed bleak for many people.

Coming from a family of business owners, builders, social care and community workers, I was introduced early in to the fields of public service, commerce, and industry. My recruitment career began in 1990 with a company called Swift Employment Services Plc, which later became Henry Court Group in Bradford. Specialising in construction, warehouse, and distribution placements, I found great satisfaction in making hundreds of successful national and international placements.

Beginning my career as a trainee recruitment consultant, I quickly surpassed my colleagues by consistently placing tradespeople in the construction industry on a weekly basis. I later broadened my focus to include recruitment for the warehouse and distribution sectors, before transitioning into health and social care staffing for Brook Street Social Care, where I significantly contributed to improving their bottom line.
